Rare 1940s WWII Japanese parachute silk souvenir dress. Semi sheer white parachute silk body. Peasant styled with smocking at the waist and sleeves. Colorful Asian embroidery on the front and back featuring flowers, clouds and a crane. Completely hand sewn seams and hand embroidered. Crew neck with hidden snaps on the left shoulder. Fitted waist. Gently flared skirt. Hidden snaps at the left side. Please note the very small sleeve opening measurement below.
